Nightlife in Lanzarote is incredibly varied and lively. When night falls and the sun goes down, it is still a good time to enjoy the island. 

Lanzarote offers innumerable possibilities for fun in its dance halls, discotheques and pubs distributed in its capital, Arrecife, and its three tourist centers, Puerto del Carmen, Playa Blanca and Costa Teguise. Once in them, depending on your musical tastes, we can find different venues, mostly open until 3:00 in the morning.

The island's nightlife varies a lot depending on where you are and where you concentrate. mainly around the main tourist areas. For example Puerto del Carmen and Playa Blanca are mainly frequented by British and German tourists, so the nightlife begins  and ends early, while in Arrecife you can find more traditional bars.

As far as hours are concerned, bars are usually open all day, 7 days a week. the week, while the discos, pubs and clubs open around 11:00 p.m. and close when the last customer has left (usually around 5:00 or 6:00 a.m.).

Night in Puerto del Carmen

Puerto del Carmen is undoubtedly the town in Lanzarote with the liveliest nightlife. There are numerous bars and clubs here, where you can continue the party until morning; as well as innumerable bars and cocktail bars, concentrated mainly around Avenida de las Playas and the Varadero area.

The lively promenade near Playa Grande beach is, in effect, the heart of the nightlife in Puerto del Carmen. For more relaxing evenings, around the old port and the town square there are also numerous elegant bars and cocktail bars, where you can enjoy a drink and admire the fabulous Lanzarote sunsets. This is also a great place to enjoy tapas in one of the restaurants or have a drink sitting on the terraces overlooking the sea.

There is also a casino where you can try your luck at one of their tables. gambling or roulette.

Nightlife in Playa Blanca

Another tourist destination in Lanzarote is the famous Playa Blanca, located in the south of Lanzarote. Although more relaxed and less crowded than Puerto del Carmen, Playa Blanca is still a good destination if you want to have a drink after dinner or an aperitif.

Nightlife in Playa Blanca takes place in a few bars and clubs, mainly concentrated in the area around the waterfront and in the port, where there are many bars, ideal for sitting on the comfortable sofas surrounded by enchanting scenery.

For fans of the live music, Playa Blanca has many venues with an interesting music and entertainment program, with performances by groups and soloists.

In the port of Playa Blanca you will find the cosmopolitan Marina Rubicón, elegant and exclusive with plenty of bars and restaurants for those looking for a more sophisticated nightlife. This port is full of the glamor of yachts and attracts an exclusive clientele looking for stylish restaurants and sophisticated bars where they can relax and have fun.

Nightlife Costa Teguise

Costa Teguise is all about from a tourist area with a more familiar atmosphere so the nightlife is much quieter than the rest of the island. 

Even so, it has a good selection of restaurants, bars and pubs, centered around Avenida de Jabillo. They are very welcoming places that have a varied leisure offer. From places that show live sporting events, others that offer cabaret and others karaoke or live music.

Around the Pueblo Marinero of Costa Teguise , the good atmosphere continues at night. In this peculiar area set in the architecture of Conejera, in addition to a good gastronomic offer, you can enjoy live music concerts in its different pubs.

Nightclubs and bars in Arrecife

Arrecife It is local less - to say nothing - touristy, but it is a great option if you want to try authentic Lanzarote nightlife. 

This city is full of great bars where you can have a great time in the company of people of all ages and enlivened by all kinds of music. 

When the sun goes down in the capital of the island, you can enjoy the good local atmosphere, beers, tapas… in the Charco de San Ginés.

The night in Teguise

In recent years the historic center of Teguise, the former capital of the island, has become a great place to enjoy a Sunday night. After the celebration of the market, the bars in the area offer a wide variety of live music concerts.
