You must camp in the specific areas designated for this purpose and the first and most important thing is to request a camping permit from the Cabildo de Lanzarote for the Papagayo campsite or on the website of the Autonomous Parks Organism Nations for the Salao campsite in Caleta de Sebo (La Graciosa).

When is the best time to camp?

Throughout the year it is perfect to camp in the camping areas of Lanzarote thanks to its sunny climate throughout the year, except for some days in winter when it usually rains. However, for now this is only possible at the Salao campsite, since Papagayo is only open a few months a year, normally coinciding with the summer season.

What is needed for camping?
